Broken vinyl on interior side of window

Question

Interior slider fell down while replacing the screen and a chunk of plastic/vinyl is missing from the interior side of the window (see picture). Is a replacement lower slider available, does the entire window need replaced, or is there another option? Temporarily placed white electrical tape over the broken area to prevent water from entering frame.

Thanks for writing in. This looks like glazing bead that has been damaged and needs to be repaired. We carry many different kinds of glazing, and the only way to know what you might need is to remove a sample and show us a clear picture of its 'end profile', along with dimensions.
