Broken window crank

A home owner from San Diego, California says:

Good morning. moved into a new house with a broken window crank. Would like to buy a replacement, and hopefully get instructions how to swap it out, even though it looks pretty basic.

If possible I would only like to buy the small broken black plastic piece.

The window is low to the ground and cranks out from the bottom. What looks like a part number stamped into the flat metal is HG04-2006. "Roto" is also stamped into the metal around the window.

Please advise

Thanks

Not sure if I sent this twice, sorry if it's a repeat

Hello,

The black piece of plastic in your first photo looks like a slide form a hinge set like our 36-048. Take a look and see what you think.

As for the operator, yours appears to be a bit unique and I can't tell for sure what you need based on these photos. Could you show us the inside base and handle of the operator as well to help us research this for you. Thank you!

A home owner from San Diego, California says:

Thanks for your reply. Here is a picture of the handle on the inside.

Would it be best if I just took the whole thing out and took a picture of it? Do you sell just the black part? If not, I may as well disassemble every thing so we can be sure, as I guess I'll have to do that anyway.

Let me know, and thanks for your help.

The 39-393 appears to be a match to the operator in your photos but the attachments are different. Unfortunately, they're too damaged to identify. Do you happen to have an operator from another window that has arm attachments that are still intact?

A home owner from San Diego, California says:
Sorry about the delay, here are three new pictures. I have removed the cranking mechanism so I hope this is enough to identify what the replacement part would look like.

Thanks for your help

Hello,

I would recommend our 39-393 operator, along with the 39-424 bracket. You might also want to order a new handle just in case your handle does not fit the new operator. Take a look at the 39-114L handle and the 39-205 folding handle.

A home owner from San Diego, California says:

Thanks for your help. I'm going to see if I can just get by with the bracket as that's all that appears to be broken.

Going to order on your website now.

I appreciate your follow up and helping ID what I need.
