Broken window latch

Handy Person from Manahawkin NJ
The 1st picture is of the part intact, the second is the broken one. The latch that slides back and allows the spring to depress so the window will tip in is what is broken off. The latch measures 3 inches by 1/2 inch. We haven't removed the broken one yet so I can't provide a picture of its inner workings at the moment. The house is 22 years old and located in Manahawkin NJ. I can't find a manufacture name on any of the windows. Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Start by comparing your old tilt latches to our 26-243 and 26-244. Look over all the dimensions and let me know if this pair seems right.
