Builders First window sash latch

Question

Looking for replacement sash latches. Many of mine are broken and I assume it's because the latch is used to hold the weight of window via counterbalance.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Tilt latches don't hold up the window sash. That would be the balances' job. I recommend you start with the 26-243 and 26-244. Look over the dimensions and see how they compare with your old latch.
