Can you please help me identify the glazing bead or can you recommend something similar

Hello, Christine. I'm afraid that I don't recognize the beading in this photo. Can you tell me what its function is? It looks like it might be more like weatherstripping than glazing bead, which doesn't often come as a bulb. Can you also verify that there isn't more to it? It looks like the tape measure might be obscuring some detail but it's hard to be sure.
