Bulb Replacement for Vinyl Window bottom window
The Solid bulb is approx. 3/8" Diameter
The bottom of the the vinyl "I" beam is 1/2"
The top of the vinyl "I" beam is 1/4"
Total height of the "I" beam is 1/8"
The distance between the top and bottom "I" beam is 1/16"
The thickness of the "I" beam is approx. 1.5/32"
Can I assume the correct weather stripping is Product code 58-171 ?
Before we can make that determination, could we see photos of your seal?
Thank you! The 58-171 definitely looks like a good match. I'm confused by your dimensions, though. The only important dimensions are the diameter of the bulb and the width of the "T" strip that slides into the slot. You can see the dimensions for our 58-171 below.
for the 58-171 ... Your measurement for the top of the "I" beam is .270
Is this measurement close to 1/4"? (slightly larger)
and for 58-183 which has a .187 wide "T" strip ...
what is the measurement in inches that equates to .187
Is the answer 3/16"????
Obviously, the measurement for the top of the "I" beam is a critical in order to procure the correct one.
Where is your shop located in NJ?
Thanks
Paul
A measurement of .270" is a little over 1/4", but a little under 9/32". That's why we label this measurement so specifically, because it doesn't really fall on a neat fraction.
A measurement of .187" is almost 3/16" exactly.
I'm afraid we don't have a walk-in shop you can visit. Our facility in NJ is only a shipping warehouse. All of our business is done online.
