Hi there Keith.

The 58-171 and 58-182 look like matches. The important difference is the size of the T-slot, which we can't determine from photos of a tape measure. Review the specifications and see what you think.

Emily,
Thank you for the response. I will measure the T slot and go from there.

The 15-180 shoe matches what you show here. Has this window ever given any issues when opening or closing? Two 8-pound springs on each side of the window would total 16 pounds of overall support, which wouldn't be strong enough for the sash weight given.

With a 19.2-pound sash, you can use two S190-540 5-pound springs on each side, which will total 20 pounds of overall support. You will also need the 15-181 double spring support.

Emily,
I guess with the broken coils the 8 lb coils are not strong enough. I will take your advice on two 5 lb on each side. Some of our windows are two on each side. Thank you for your advice!
