Butt two tracks together?

I have a 144? closet and can?t find a track that long to replace mine. Can I butt two 72? tracks together?

Yes, you can absolutely do that. It's what we usually recommend in cases just like yours.

Follow up question: can I install two tracks side by side to create a triple bypass sliding door, using three of the four tracks?

I have seen that done before, but it can be a little awkward as you can imagine since two tracks take up a lot of room. As long as you have the space for it then I think it should be okay.
