C-9400-1 is different than the 39-264

A contractor from Ohio says:
This part # of C-9400-1 and the part 39-264 look to be different in the screw hole locations,i can look at the old part it has the mounting holes on the top of the operator, and the new has them on the bottom, those pictures are posted in this discussion my other people.I don't know if that makes any difference as long as you drill new holes, but they definitely look different.I saw some where that the part numbers have changed three times and that the last part# is now been discontinued, the last good part number from Andersen was 90151121 i found that part # on Andersen website.

What year was your window made? If it was before 1999, then you should look at our 39-362 adapter plate.
A contractor from ohio says:
I didn't know that you have to use the adapter plate,i thought that Andersen made a direct replacement,my windows were made in 1996.as a contractor i only use pella or a vinyl window, this house i bought to flip has all vinyl clad Andersen windows,i use windows i can get free parts for if i ever need them.
