The handle to the hardware on the side, as shown in the photo, broke, meaning the window won't open since the handle is no longer connected to the channel. Anything you can advise is greatly appreciated!

Hello! Sounds like you need a new lock. I think we can help, but before I recommend anything I will need a clear picture of the lock removed from the window. Would that be possible? I'm chiefly interested in seeing whatever fork, arm, or clip is used to interact with the linkage. Thanks!

It's still tough to make out the back piece, but I can at least tell that it's a fork. My top recommendations in that case would be either our 38-095 or 38-096.
You will need to remove the original to get accurate measurements. Once you do, you can review the dimensions below to verify the better option.
