CMech metal screen door latch....

Question

I pulled this off a two-family.  The handle goes limp and it can hang up tenants trying to get it.  "Cmech ws the only marking.  The "posts" on the back of the handle are 1.25" on center spaced.  New handles from the hardware store fit in holed, but the whole working is different   Pic 265 screws into pic 263 from the other side of the door.  Pic 264 is kind of a mini deadbolt.

I'm afraid this handle set isn't made anymore, but we have a couple possible replacement options for you. See our 40-177 to start out, I think this can work for you. Let me know what you think.
