CRANK OR HANDLE HARDWARD FOR OLD AWNING WINDOWS

Quick Learner from Abington, PA
Have a house (made 1952) with several awning windows that have old handles which I need to replace. I need the entire crank/handle mechanism. I am attaching back and front pictures of the old part. Not sure, but it may be old Anderson window.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. As you already know, this is a very old operator that hasn't been made in a long time. Andersen, its manufacturer, never made a working substitute for it, but you may be able to get our 39-390 to work.

Many customers in the past who tried out our 39-390 said that it worked well, but some others reported that the sash wouldn't close all the way due to the shoe hitting the end of the track. If this happens to you, you could try to mount the operator base a little further back on the sill.

Let me know what you think!
