Cabinet hinge not auto-closing

Home Owner from Atlanta, GA
Thank you for your excellent service and products! I just ordered a bunch of window balances and associated parts.

Please look at the attached pictures and let me know if/how to adjust this type of auto-close hinge so that it works again.

Thanks for posting, and for your kind words! I 'm glad you find our site helpful.

As for this hinge, take a look at our 32-147 hinge and see if it matches up to yours.

Dave, thank you for your reply. I was hoping to be able to simply adjust my existing hinges vs. buying and installing all new ones. Are you implying that this is not possible?

Sorry for the confusion! I was so focused on your pictures that I overlooked that part in your post.

This type of self closing hinge has a spring to help them close. I believe once that spring is worn there is no way to repair or adjust the spring.

One thought is to make sure there is nothing obstructing the cabinet door from closing. If the door rubbing or out of alignment with the cabinet, you could possibly try to remount the hinges. Otherwise your best bet might be to just replace the hinge set.
