I would like to replace these. The size is important because they are inset into the doors.
They are made of plastic, which is unfortunate. But, replacements will do the job if I am careful to avoid placing my weight on them.

I assumed the hinges were made of plastic because they had low strength. It may be they were made of metal and just were not intended to support weight above that of the doors?
