Good afternoon,
I am looking to replace two window balances (pics enclosed). The metal length is 28" and the channel width is 5/8". I don't see a part number stamped on the unit. Do you have the appropriate part in stock?

Hi Marty, thank you for posting,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You will need a 28" balance with a 2740 stamp option.

Hi Lauren,
Thanks for the detailed info and pics of the part I need. I would need the S380 part in a 28" length. However, when I get to the part in ordering the option for sash weight range, how do I determine that number to complete my selection?

Hi Marty,

Based on the 27 4 number stamped on the metal channel of your balance, you will need a 2740 stamp option that can support a 19 to 26 lb sash weight. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
