Caldwell 32 4 00 of OQ... hard to tell.

This popped out when we closed the window. Looks like there is no balance on the other side of window.

Thanks for writing in! I am certain we have the replacement balances you need for your repairs. Although, I will need to see a photo of the top attachment on it to confirm the correct series. The stamp on the channel indicates the weight range a balance can support but cannot be used to identify the series.

Given that the window is still installed and the balance has been removed, I suspect you may also need to replace the top sash guide at the top corner of the window sash.

Take a look at the video tutorials below for instructions on how to remove/install the window hardware.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.

Hello,

Thanks for the photos. Were you able to check the top sash guide at the top of the window? If this is damaged, the replacement balances will not install properly.

The balances can be replaced with either the S380-33 or the S385-33. You'll need to measure the depth of the shoe to determine the correct series.

The 3240 stamp is possibly the one you need but I do encourage double checking that the sash weighs between 23 to 28lbs.
