Caldwell Balance ID

The stamped number that appears o the balance only indicates the spring strength of the balance. It does not identify your current balance nor does it help with locating the proper replacement. To start, we need for you to remove the balance from the window. Send us over photos of the complete balance including any nylon attachments. We will also need for you to provide us with the metal length measurement of the balance. From there, I am confident we can find what you need.

Thanks for the photos, John. This looks like either an S380-24 or S385-24 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.
