Caldwell Channel Balance Spring

Question

Hi, My name is Jerry & I need two replacement Caldwell springs.  The only markings  say 27 4 GR Caldwell.  The metal channel is 28 in. long.  By looking at a video I believe that the top end of the balance spring is part number 15P142.  I believe the bottom end is 15P102 because it is 1 1/16 in. wide

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You will need a 28" balance with a 2740 stamp option.
