Caldwell Channel balance

We're happy to help with this. Can show us a photo of the inside of the metal channel where the spring connects to the pulley mechanism? That'd be located in the middle of the channel. Can you also confirm the stamp printed on the metal channel? We aren't able to make it out from your last photo.
