Hi,

I'm trying to identify what window balance I need to order. The model appears to be a Caldwell 22 4 FD (F0?). The metal rod is 23 in long and appears .

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help with this. We would also like to see an image of the inside of the balance’s metal channel, where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism; this connection is located in the middle of the channel.

We would like you to measure the bottom shoe as shown below as well and tell us what you get.

Thank you kindly! Your balance would be a match for the S380-23 or S385-23 with the 2240 stamp option. The best match depends on the depth of the bottom fitting. If it measures over 1", you'd want the S385-23.
