Caldwell Window Balance Replacement

Question

I need to replace these window balances. The ID on the balance is 25 9 34# IM Caldwell. It measures, from the tip of the plastic - 26 3/4".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either a Series 380-26 or Series 385-26 channel balance. You need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need and be sure that the 26" length is only including the metal channel and not the end attachments. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.
