Caldwell Window Balances

Question

I need to replace the window balances and i have Milguard single hung., Winslow windows (builder grade). The windows were installed in 1997 when house was built. The windows are 36? x60? (27? balance metal channel length) and 36? x 72? ( 32? balance metal channel length). The marking on the 32? says ?32 GQ 4 Caldwell? but no markings on the 27? balance.
Which balances do I need to order for each?

Hi, David. This looks very similar to our Series 385 channel balance, which has a 19-005 top and 15-004 bottom nylon fitting. As long as your fittings match these in terms of size, then I'm confident this is the Series you want.

If your 27" balance has no stamp, then you will need to weigh your sash on a scale to confirm which of our stamp options will be best. Please also confirm the length of the balance marked with "32 4." Based on your stamp, it should be 33" long, not 32".
