Any markings were barely visible;
"Caldwell" and either "21-4" or "21-A".
The stamping was a very light ink and almost completely faded.

It looks like you have either our S351-22, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or S390-22, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need. You'll also need either a 2140 spring strength option to replace the (21-4) or a 2110 to replace the (21-A) stamp for your replacement balances. Thank you!
