Caldwell block and tackle window balance

Question

Hello, I have what appears to be a Caldwell series 300 window balance. I am attaching photos of the ends and the stamp. (metal channel measures 26 inches).

Can you recommend a replacement part?

Hi David, thank you for posting,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The 25 9 stamp is an older marking that does not directly translate to our stamp options. You will need to obtain the weight of the window sash and compare to the strength chart on the product page to choose the correct stamp to support the sash..
