Caldwell replacement channel

A home owner from Oregon says:
I have Insulate brand windows that have Caldwell brand channels. The windows were purchased new in 1998.

I had the pulley string break in one of the channels. The channel is identified by Caldwell numbering as shown in Photo-1. The window is single hung. The window is shown in Photo 3.

The shoe measures out at 1.09" or 1 and 3/32". This is shown in Photo 2. That indicates to me that your Series 385 might be the correct part. The length of the galvanized metal channel itself measures 26" and was measured according to your instructions. However, the Caldwell numbering shows "25 4" stamped on the channel (Photo 1).

Photos 4 and 5 show the second, unbroken channel in place.

Once we identify the correct part, I wish to order a replacement for each side, or two total. Given that the string broke, it could be the case that the other is worn close to failure.

Thanks for posting. I agree, our S385-26 channel balance with a 2540 stamp option appears to be our closest match.
