Caldwell window balance replacement

Part identifed as "20 4 Caldwell KM". Metal portion measures 21" from end to end. Add 1" for total length from plastic end caps.

This looks like our S385-21 channel balance. Look it over and tell me if you agree.

Yes. That appears to be it. I'm unable to locate the stamp on the channel balance, but the sash is approximately 20 pounds, so it appears that I should get the 2040 option.
