Cam locks and balance shoes

A home owner from 20901 says:

Looking to try and order the correct cam lock and balance shoes for both sides of seven windows top and bottom. I also included the side and top window labels if it helps to determine the part number.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,

Take a look at our Certainteed 15-192 pivot shoe, which uses the Series 170 and Series 171 coil springs. Simonton once used a pivot shoe that was very similar, except the metal cam was a slightly different shape. The issue is that our 15-192 center metal cam has a slot that's not the right shape to accept the tip of the 26-336 pivot bar.

To get around this, you would have to re-use the cams from your old shoes, if they were undamaged; in the event that they are, you will have to grind down the "collar" on the 26-336 tip so that it fits the 15-192 cam. Look over these parts and see what you think.
