Can I use 29-214?

A quick learner from Colorado says:

I have two (2) Clerestory awning-style windows with crank style operators. They are so high In need a ladder to open or close. Can I use the 29-214 with a telescopic rod to improve use and ease in using?

I'm afraid I couldn't match 29-214 to anything in our catalog. Could you be referring to the 39-214? If so, this may work for you, but it depends on the spline size. The 39-214 has an 11/32" spline. If this matches your operator, then it should work great.
