Can this mail slot be used on the door exterior?

Can the 42-004 Mail slot be used on an outside door? Is it weatherproof (cold/rain, etc). If not do you have something similar and of the same size (10" width OD) that would be weatherproof for an outside door?

The 42-004 mail slot can be used outside, but it does not have any weather proofing properties. The mail slow does have an interior flap that will help cut down on the wind and weather, but it is not insulated against the cold.
