Can you help identify what brand these window are.

Quick Learner from Branson, MO

Hi, My in-laws are trying to find the brand of the windows in their house. The builder has passed away and the original owner does not remember and we have found no identifying labels anywhere. The crank out hardware is TRUTH hardware and the only other name was on the crank which is SEMCO which could be the manufacturer.

The house was built in 1986 and the windows are wood on the inside and a dark bronze colored aluminium on the out side.

I have included 4 pictures of the large window with 2 crank outs in front of the house and these pictures do show the TRUTH and SEMCO names.

I will send another request with pictures of the smaller lift windows.

Hi, This post is in addition to Reference # D143124 which included 4 pictures of the larger window.

This post has 5 pictures of the smaller double hung windows that my in-laws have in their house. I have not found any names or labels on these double hung windows. The only numbers/letters I found on these were on the spacer between the two panes of glass.

One picture shows the T-Slot weather stripping that is in good shape on this window other than being flattened but on some other windows it sticks out and I believe the sun has taken its toll on it and has split.

I will probably be ordering some of your 58-135 Bubble Seal as it looks like all the measurements are pretty close. I saw some foam filled T-Slot Bubble Seal on another site, is there any benefit to use foam filled vs. hollow bubble seal?

Thanks you so much for any help you can provide.

Thanks for posting! The company that made your windows was probably Semco, and it sounds like they're also using Truth brand operators. That's about all I can say, though. What exactly were you looking to replace? Did you need new operators, or just new weatherstripping?

If all you needed was weatherstripping then I agree that our 58-135 is a good place to start, especially if the dimensions are close. There's no real benefit to foam over hollow bubble; both types perform their job equally well.
