Can you remove the 40-145 insert?

Question

My current door has (I believe) a 5/16 spindle.  Does this one have the bolt that will allow me to remove the insert? for a 5/16?

Thanks for contacting us. I'm afraid the spindle in the insert in the 40-145. You may want to consider our 40-150 instead. You can remove the insert in this to accommodate a 5/16" spindle. It just isn't a "push" type like the 40-145.
