Can you replace nylon wheels with steel wheels?

A handy person from Palm Bay, Florida, USA says:
The nylon wheels on my sliding door have worn out leaving BB's in the track. One side I removed the nylon wheel is worn around the bearing area. The assembly for this door is Product code 81-133 for an Alcan/Norandex brand. My question is would it be feasible to replace the nylon wheels and axles with product code 81-225 (1 1/2" steel wheel) and product code 81-203(7/8" axle)? The door is only 4 years and has not been used constantly.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
The 81-133 roller is riveted in the wheel housing, so I could not try to replace the roller with an axle.
