Hello, I have just purchased a house built in 1979 which is missing some sections of window gasket. I hope the enclosed pics will be good enough to identify it.I hope this is a better picture the width is 3 eighths and it is a quarter of an inch deep. It may have shrunk a bit, I am guessing it was rubbery and now has the texture of hard plastic.
Its function is mostly ornamental, giving the appearance of small panes of glass. However it holds the mock vertical glazing bars in place
