Cannot get the spindle itself out of old door latch

Question

I am able to get the spindle insert on the new latch out OK but cannot get the spindle itself out of old door latch inside handle assembly.  Any trick to removing or is this another replaceable part?

I know what you mean. You must take that old handle apart completely. There is a small pin that holds that spindle onto the handle that has to be driven out. After you take the handle apart you should able to see it. It is usually inside the small spring.
