I believe I have the 55-190 6" GLAZING BEAD. My bead is rigid. Is it supposed to be rigid? I can not snap it in. I have tried heating it,using a spray lubricant. I seems too rigid with no give.
Can not add photos.
Cannot install what looks like the 55-190 6" GLAZING BEAD

I have a new window on order. In the meantime, I was trying to install the bead for practice and can not get it to snap into the channel. Please understand , there is not window in the frame. I have a piece of plywood in place while the window is on order.

I would try sliding the 55-190 snap in across the glass and as you start putting the snap-in under the metal, you might need a putty knife to help work in the top hook shape end under the aluminum frame. Seeing as how you are using the plywood, the thickness might be more than the actual glass thickness.
