Cannot remove lower sash

Question

Cannot remove sash as shown in video in order to replace balance. Cover was removed and it takes a 25" 5/8 balance. Can this be replaced into the existing shoe?

If this is for a tilt window and the outer tube's diameter is 5/8", see our Series 600 spiral balance with a red tip option.
