Cannot remove my 39-025 from the window

Question

I ordered the 39-025 but I'm unable to remove the quarter inch size sticking out of the arm. Please see picture.

Looking at your photo, it appears that you have an e-clip stud attached to the window linkage. You might need an operator more like our 39-194, which has a 3/8" hole at the end of the link arm. That way the stud will go into the hole in the link arm and be secured with an e-clip. Carefully compare your operator to our 39-194 to confirm if they are the same.
