Can't Find Stamp Option I Need. 29-9?

Hello, I have a window balance which is stamped 29-9, but your selections don't appear to go that high for the size balance/shoes. Is the only way to properly identify the correct strength rod to weigh the window?

Hello and thanks for contacting SWISCO. You are correct: the only way to reliably know what stamp option you need to select is to weigh your window sash. The stamp you see on your balance is from an older rating system that is no longer in use, and so we can't rely on it to determine weight range. Only the precise weight will allow you to know what stamp option to select from the product page.
