Can't find Simonton Window replacment pivot bar

This pivot bar measures 2 19/32 ? long and 9/32 wide, it came off a Simonson window and has a number 7 imprinted on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This exact pivot bar isn't made anymore, but I believe you can use our 26-336 as a replacement. Let me know what you think.

Well, the ?head? is round to whereas mine has a ?square? shape so I?m not sure it would work....so now I have another question, could I change the assembly to the window so I could have all matching hardware. Thanks in advance again.

I don't think you need to do any of that. Our 26-336 is just a newer style of your old pivot bar. We've seen yours a million times and our 26-336 has always worked well as a replacement.

There could be a possibility your old pivot shoe won't quite fit right with the new pivot bar, but I've never seen it happen. There's not really any way to predict that until you try it out, either. If that ends up being the case, let me know. It wouldn't be hard to work around.
