Can't open the door.

Question

we took the locking handle off to try to repair & the door was pushed closed & the latch in the door is not in the lock position (i guess) because we cannot open the door.  both sides of the handle were taken off.  (Patiorama sliding glass door handle)

It sounds like your lock assembly may have broken in the locked position. If that is the case, unfortunately, there is no easy solution to unlock the door.
