Caradco Awning window crank

A quick learner from Louisville, Tn says:
Need new crank assembly. Color dark bronze. Threads stripped on part surrounding crank shaft (to hold in place when opening window). Not sure how t remove old assembly. Crank cover doesn't seem to pop off as it does on crank windows. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in. We can help you replace this operator, but we're going to need to see the link arm(s) as well. Seeing a bird's eye view of the whole operator including those arms, either out of the window or at least with the window open, would be a big help. For removal and replacement details of an awning operator, see the video below.

Bob; Thanks for the response. I basically need the crank mechanism assembly itself, not the arms (I assume I can reattach my arms to the new crank). First pic is looking up into the arms attachment to the crank (view from outside looking in). Need any more epics let me know.

The arms cannot be removed or replaced, I'm afraid. They're built into the base of the operator and count as one unit. If you need a new base, you'll be getting new arms, too.

That said, I think yours is similar to our 39-083, or maybe our 39-140 depending on size. Look over each part and see which one is a better match.
