Caradco replacement crank

Friend from Louisville, KY

My sister is a patient at a nursing home in Louisville, KY. The Caradco windows in her room are missing the cranks. The nursing aids have one crank that they pass between rooms. I would appreciate your help determining the correct replacement cranks. I need to order 2 for my sister's room. I have attached pictures of the crank.

Wow, have no fear! I think we can find a more convenient way to get those windows open.

I want to solve this problem quickly, so I'll take a little bit of a guess. You could check it, if you're able.

This handle looks like it can be replaced by the 39-114L. I'm pretty confident by looking at it. If you want to be sure, the diameter of the hole in the handle (as well as the diameter of the metal spline that sticks into the hole) should be 11/32". You could measure to be sure, but the 39-114L is a very common handle for Caradco windows. If it works, you could let the nurses' station know where to find more handles—if you'd like to.

Good luck getting these windows fixed. PLEASE let us know if this handle doesn't work for some reason. We want to do anything we can.
