Caradco window crank

Quick Learner from Billerica,Ma
I have a double crank window and need to replace the crank mechanism. Looking at the window from the inside it is on the left. So which one would i need? Left or Right crank mechanism? Not sure how to decide which is correct.

Hi there, good question. The perspective of this can get a little confusing. I would determine which side you need by checking which way the long arm of your operator goes and matching it to the photos of the product codes on our website.

If you need some extra help, just send us a photo of yours and we'll be happy to look at it further.

I added a photo of what I need. This is looking at the window from the inside. On the left. I hope it is clear enough. Thanks! Steve

Thanks, Steve! This looks like our 39-032. The arms appear to face the same direction, and if you were to remove the sill trim I bet you'll see that the gears do, too. I would just make sure our dimensions all match up.

See our 39-031 for the opposite side.
