I need to replace the pin in the storm window.  How does it come apart and do you have the pin part

I have broken pins on several storm windows. They are plastic corners with the pins. Is there a metal version that is more durable? Or is there a fix that I could superglue to the top of the aluminum frame?

What do I do when I receive the new corner?  Do I use a wood block to push it all back and the plastic tabs will hold it together?  Why about the gray gasket pictured above?  Does that tick under the frame accordingly?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The "Carefree" latch you need is no longer available. However, you can consider the 91-054 latch; please note that its dimensions differ, so you may need to adapt it to fit your frame, though we can't make any promises. We also have the 95-225 and 95-193 corners, but you'll have to compare the specifications with an undamaged part to see how they align. Unfortunately, we don't sell these parts in a metal version.

When reassembling the frame, it’s advisable to lift the top rail to install the new corners. First, install the new corners into the top rail, and then tap the rail back onto the sides of the storm sash.

Additionally, ensure that the gray gasket adequately covers the glass when reassembling the frame.
