Casement Operator

A handy person from Providence, RI says:
I'm trying to help my neighbor replace her casement operator which has a gear missing teeth. It does not close all the way. She previously had a casement connecting arm sash bracket with code 39-522 replaced (not by me, she had the paper from the last homeowner). The housing looks different, but will the 39-092 be an adequate replacement? This would be for a right-swinging opening window. Thank you.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hello there. Yes, this is an older version of the 39-092 ROTO Short Arm Operator. Unfortunately, ROTO discontinued the bracket arm you're referring to back in 2018, and we have no supply of it left. You can re-use the old one if it's undamaged. For a new handle that works with this updated operator, see the 39-224
