I have one bar (arm) Truth hinges with the number 40942-A stamped on the bottom hinge. I'm assuming these are no longer being made (they are on 25+ years old Marvin windows). Does the 2 arm- Right Hand (Standard) Casement Window Hinge Assembled 10" replace the old one arm 40942-A. Will I need a different operator?
The reason why I need to replace the hinge is many of sashes are hanging and my old hinges don't have the adjusting CAM on the newer Truth hinge that adjusts the sash in the frame.
I'm attaching these photos:
1 - Single Arm Hinge
2 - Hinge bracket on bottom of frame measures about 9 3/4".
3 & 4 - I measured the bottom and top hinge arm. I couldn't get a "clean" measurement for each. They look to be about 6 - 61/4" long.

Thanks for reaching out to us! Your hinge can mostly likely be replaced with the 36-048 2-Bar Hinge Set. Although, you will need to carefully compare the dimensions to determine if they will be a fit for the window.
This set can be used to replace the top and bottom hinges for left and right handed applications. We do advise replacing the top and bottom hinges at the same time.
