Casement Window Crank Assembly

Question

It appears that the window crank shaft is stripped where it screws in. When I go to close the window after opening , the crank shaft unscrews with the handle. Is there anyway to repair this? The crank assembly was screwed into the framing during assembly at the factory.There appears no way to get the assembly out without taking the framing apart.

Thanks for your post! You'll need to replace the entire operator since the worm gear has become stripped. That piece is not sold separately and the operator cannot be repaired, unfortunately.

I believe you may have the 39-083 Dual Arm Crank but you'll need to carefully look over the specifications and compare them to confirm that this is the correct match.
