Casement Window Maintenance.

A home owner from Vancouver, BC, Canada. says:
I need help in maintaining my casement window. It makes a lot of cracking noise when opening and closing. I don't see any adjusting screws.
I also need to replace some of the locking guilds that are broken. I need help with the part number, please?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Check the window hinges that support the window during operation. Are they dirty or damaged in any way? Try removing the casement window operator and pulling and pushing the window closed. If it's still clunky to move, then the hinges definitely need to be replaced. See our 36-004-10 10" Hinge Set. Compare the dimensions to see if this matches what you need. For the Tie Bar Guides, see our 39-448
