Casement Window Track

A quick learner from Allentown, PA says:
Im looking to replace a broken track for a casement window. As you look from the house outside it is the right window. I cannot open it as the track assembly has broken. Attached are several pictures. I want to replace the upper and lower assembly and the 2 window cranks which are white.

Hi there!

Your operator reminds me of an older version of the 39-171 and 39-172. Look over the dimensions and see how they align with your old assembly.

Let me know if you have any questions!

A quick learner from Allentown, PA says:
Emily,

Are these assemblies a left or right crack? Also do you sell the track? That is the piece that is broken. A black clip that rolls back and forth on the track.

Emily from SWISCO responded:

Oh, my apologies! It sounds like you need a new hinge. We don't sell that black piece separately so I would recommend the 36-048 hinge set. Carefully review our specifications and see if they match up with what you need for this repair. We just recommend replacing the top and bottom hinges at the same time.

I'm not sure what you consider left or right, every customer and window manufacturer defines that differently. You just need to focus on what side the handle is on and use that as a reference for what side you need.
