Casement Window Weatherstrip

A home owner from Chicago IL says:
Hi,

I need to replace weather strip on several 25 year old casement windows.

No idea of the manufacture, I don't see any branding on the visible hardware. The strip slides into a channel on all sides of the window. It is 5/8 inches wide and has a curled over section on one side to secure it in the channel.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Regards
Doug

Hello, Doug. I'm afraid I don't recognize this weatherstripping. Could this window perhaps be Pella brand? If so, consider our 58-178 rain strip as a possible replacement. Look over the dimensions and pictures we show on its store page and let me know how they compare.

A home owner from Chicago IL says:

Hi Tom,

Thanks for taking a look. Don't think my windows are Pella but what you have identified is as close as I have seen.

The width looks to be maybe an 1/8 wider but if I need to I might be able to trim it.

I think I will order one as a test and see how it fits/works.

Regards

Doug
